Terracon Inc. is pleased to showcase it’s work in this charming Queen West Victorian row house Now a bright and airy modern home, it was renovated from its previous incarnation as a dark, sectioned off space.
Changes included bringing the wiring and plumbing up to code, the removal of interior walls on the main floor, and the removal of an addition. To open up the space and bring in more light, the back wall was knocked out and a pair of french doors were installed to connect the main floor to the backyard.
A long galley kitchen was created with custom mill work shelving and seating adding a personalized touch. A small desk was added to the kitchen to create a new work area, increasing the functionally of the space.
Upstairs the main bathroom was completely rebuilt. This included adding a high-end glass shower stall, with custom built in-wall niche, a refurbished vintage tub, a new vanity, and new tiling and windows.
The result is that this Victorian row house is now a modern home that is the perfect marriage between functionality and style while meeting the needs of a growing young family.
